Ok so I have been OBSESSED with upgrading my pup’s whole situation lately and honestly, I wish I’d done this sooner. Like, I thought I had all the basics covered but then I realized there are literally game-changing products out there that make both our lives so much easier. Can we talk about how the right accessories actually make you a better dog parent? Because they do, and I’m so here for it.
First up – a quality harness is literally non-negotiable and I’m obsessed with ones that have that front-clip feature because it gives you so much more control on walks. No more getting yanked down the street like you’re waterskiing, you know? I switched to one with padded straps and my shoulders have never been happier, and honestly my dog walks so much better too. Ok and then there’s the whole grooming situation – I finally got a proper deshedding tool and you guys, I’m not even exaggerating when I say it’s a game changer. Like my couch used to be covered in fur and now it’s actually manageable, plus my girl’s coat looks so shiny and healthy. Spend the money on a good one because the cheap ones literally do nothing, trust me on this.
And can I just say interactive puzzle toys are criminally underrated? My dog was acting out because she was bored, and the second I introduced these slow-feeder toys she was like a different pup. They keep her entertained for hours, which means less destruction and honestly more peace for me, and she’s mentally stimulated which is apparently super important for their happiness.
